The Jamia Millia Islamia bas 13 programmes which are a part of the Centre for Distance and Open Learning/CDOL. The Jamia Milia Islamia has started accepting application forms for a list of programmes for the year 2018-2019 and 2019-2020. The list has been released by the Distance Education Bureau of the University Grants Commission.
Jamia Millia Islamia was established in 1920 at Aligarh and was later named as the Central University as per the act by the Indian Parliament in the year 1988. Jamia Millia means national university in Urdu. The applications are to be submitted to the study centre or to the Programme Coordinator. The application forms for the B.Ed programme needs to be submitted by 21 February 2019 and the application forms submission and other admission formalities for the remaining programmes need to be completed by 28 February 2019.
Business Administration, Commerce, Education, and Commerce degree for International Business and Finance are some of the Bachelor’s courses that are being offered by the Centre for Distance and Open Learning in JMI. Commerce, Arts in Education, Sociology, English, Public Administration, Hindi, Human Resource Management, Political Science, and History are some of the Masters/ Post-graduation programmes offered.
