Indian Institute of Technology Delhi or IIT-Delhi recently released the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering or GATE 2020 CS admit card on the official website. Students who are appearing for the exam can download the admit card from the website, GATE 2020 CS exam date is set to be on February 1st,2nd,8th, 9th 2020 respectively. The exam is usually held in two sessions, one Morning session which goes on from 9:30 in the morning to 12:30 in the afternoon, while the afternoon session begins at 2.30 in the afternoon and goes on till 5.30 in the evening. The GATE 2020 CS exam dates are from February 1st to February 9th 2020.
What is GATE?
GATE is an entrance exam for engineering graduates who are planning to do masters in engineering some companies even value GATE scores for recruitment. Every year a total of 10 lakh students sit for the GATE Examination across the country. M.Tech in Computer Science is the most desired course for students especially from colleges like IISC and IITs. The GATE 2020 CS syllabus is vast encompasses a lot of topics. The GATE CS 2020 syllabus includes a lot of topics such as Engineering Mathematics which is made up of subtopics such as discrete mathematics, linear algebra, calculus, probability. Digital Logic includes boolean algebra, computer organization, programming and data structures, algorithms, the theory of computation regular expressions, Compiler Design Lexical analysis, Operating System Processes among others. Once this entire syllabus has been covered students must try solving old question papers so that they are practised at solving questions quickly and effectively.
The GATE 2020 CS Exam date is on 8th February, exams begin on the first. Exams for Mechanical, Petroleum, Physics, and Instrumentation Engineering are on the first, while Chemistry, Civil and Biotechnology, Geology exams are later. Students should focus on which part of the syllabus they want to study and prepare in a more specialized manner rather than trying to cover all of it.
