On Friday afternoon, a classroom wall collapsed at Shree Narayan Gurukul School on Waghodiya Road, injuring a Class 7 student. The incident, which occurred around 12:30 pm during the lunch break, caused panic among students and staff.

Principal Rupal Shah described the scene, stating that a loud noise drew the staff's attention, who rushed to the spot. The wall had collapsed onto the area where students parked their bicycles, damaging several. One student sustained head injuries and was promptly attended to. Shah confirmed that the other students were immediately relocated to a safe area to ensure their well-being.

The Vadodara Fire Department responded swiftly to the emergency call. Fire department official Vinod Mohite reported that the team arrived at the school quickly after receiving the alert. They found a Class 7 student with minor injuries, who was then taken to a private hospital. The student received primary treatment and was reported to be in stable condition. The fire department also worked to clear the debris, which had buried 10-12 bicycles.

CCTV footage captured the dramatic moment of the wall collapse, showing several students falling along the wall. The incident has raised serious concerns about the structural integrity of the school's infrastructure. Authorities have called for a thorough building inspection to prevent future incidents. The school management has assured parents and students that safety measures will be enhanced to avoid such accidents.
