The Odisha government has taken proactive measures in response to the India Meteorological Department's (IMD) forecast of an impending heatwave.
With temperatures expected to soar by 2 to 4 degrees Celsius in various areas over the coming days, the government announced the closure of schools across the state from April 18th to 20th.
