The Directorate of Medical Education and Training in Uttar Pradesh has reopened the registration window for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Postgraduate) (NEET PG) Counselling 2024.

Candidates eager to pursue postgraduate medical education can now apply until November 4, 2024, by visiting the official website at upneet.gov.in. This extension comes after the initial application deadline of September 30, providing another opportunity for eligible students to secure a spot in the counselling process.

To be eligible for UP NEET PG 2024 counselling, candidates must have participated in NEET PG 2024 or NEET MDS 2024 and completed their Compulsory Rotatory Internship by specified dates: June 30 for MDS courses and August 15 for MD/MS/Diploma/DNB courses. Additionally, students who obtained their MBBS or BDS degrees from Uttar Pradesh's medical and dental colleges, excluding institutions like Aligarh Muslim University, Banaras Hindu University, AIIMS Raebareli, and AIIMS Gorakhpur, are eligible for state quota seats in government colleges.

To successfully register for the counselling, candidates must prepare a set of essential documents. These include the allotment letter, NEET PG admit card, NEET PG or NEET MDS scorecard, Class 12 mark sheet, MBBS mark sheets, MBBS degree certificate, Compulsory Rotatory Internship completion certificate, and a permanent registration certificate from the State Medical Council, MCI, or DCI.

The registration process is straightforward. Candidates should visit the official UP NEET PG website and click the counselling link on the homepage. After registering and logging in with the necessary credentials, applicants must fill out the application form, upload the required documents, and pay the application fee. Finally, candidates must download and print the confirmation page for future reference, ensuring they have all necessary materials ready for counselling.
