The candidate must have a minimum educational qualification of higher secondary school or any equivalent education with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics as the main subjects with a minimum aggregate of 50%. Candidates who are due to appear in the higher secondary school examination are also eligible to apply. For Master's Degree the candidate must have graduated in B.Sc forensic science or B.Sc in relevant subjects or stream from a recognised university with a minimum aggregate of 50 per cent. Those who are in the final semester of the bachelor program are also eligible to apply. Candidates can attempt the AIFSET exam max three times.
