Presidency University’s Diwali Utsav 2026 Showcases Women-Led Businesses in Collaboration with AWAKE

Presidency University’s Diwali Utsav 2026 provided a platform for women entrepreneurs to showcase their businesses and locally made products through an exhibition organised in collaboration with the Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Karnataka (AWAKE).

The exhibition featured 10 stalls run by women entrepreneurs, highlighting a range of products, creative work and entrepreneurial journeys. The initiative aimed to promote women-led enterprises while giving local businesses an opportunity to reach a wider audience.

Organised by the university’s ISR Cell, the exhibition was part of the Diwali Utsav celebrations. It brought together entrepreneurship and community engagement, encouraging visitors to explore and support businesses established by women.

Through this collaboration, Presidency University highlighted the importance of creating opportunities for women entrepreneurs and promoting locally made products. The initiative also offered a space for participants to share their work, connect with the community and celebrate the contribution of women-led businesses to the local economy.
