Miss KanishkaITM University Gwalior has appointed Dr Shilpi Kapoor (PT) as the new Dean of its School of Medical & Paramedical Sciences. The university released an official notice regarding the commencement of Dr Kapoor’s tenure as the Dean of the School of Medical and Paramedical Sciences.
Dr Shilpi Kapoor has been working in the field of medical education and health care for more than 22 years. Moreover, she has a successful record of serving in administrative posts.
ITM University Gwalior has opened up its new frontiers in medical and paramedical education. School of Medical and Paramedical Sciences of the university provides education in BPT, BMLT, Diploma in Medical Lab Technologist, Diploma in Optometry and Refraction, Diploma in Radiography Technician.
Dr Kapoor has taken over as the Dean of the School of Medical & Paramedical Sciences of ITM University, Gwalior. School of Medical and Para Medical Sciences aims to provide education about various allied health areas to the students by adopting a unique combination of theoretical and lab practical classes along with clinical training and making them industry-ready.
The university expressed its confidence that Dr Kapoor will significantly contribute to the academic and administrative growth of the School of Medical and Para Medical Sciences with her vast experience in academics, clinical and administrative fields.
Her previous leadership experience also includes her role as Principal at BIMR College of Professional Studies. A professional journal’s editorial-board listing identifies her as Dr Shilpi Kapoor, MPT, PhD, and lists her with BIMR College of Professional Studies, Gwalior.
School of Medical and Paramedical Sciences is known for its specialties like Physiotherapy, Medical Lab Technology, Radiography and other allied health areas. ITM University Gwalior aims to empower the students with the relevant skills, clinical expertise and knowledge to meet the changing demands of the healthcare sector.
