INNOVERSE 2026: AISECT Group Students Can Pitch Startup Ideas

Students across the AISECT Group of Universities with a startup idea now have a platform to take it beyond the classroom. Applications for INNOVERSE 2026, the third edition of the group’s ideathon, are currently open, giving students an opportunity to pitch ideas, compete for a cash prize and explore incubation support.  The last date for submission was 20th September, 2026.

The opportunity is open to undergraduate and postgraduate students of all disciplines affiliated with AISECT Group of Institutions. Participants can apply in teams of two to four students and present an idea, as well as discuss its implementation.

What INNOVERSE 2026 offers students

The students will have the opportunity to pitch their startup ideas, receive learning and recognition, as well as obtain incubation support. Moreover, the participants will be supported by experts in the field, who will provide mentorship to the teams.

The winning team will receive a cash prize of INR 10,000, and the participants also have a chance to receive recognition within the AGU umbrella. Moreover, the initiative provides learning and growth opportunities and offers incubation support for viable ideas.

Thus, students have the opportunity to develop their ideas to the level of presentation. In addition, students who have nothing to do with business can join forces and come up with a working idea, as the event is open to participants of all calibres.

Those interested in joining the ‘INNOVERSE 2026: A Group of Universities Ideathon’ must submit their applications by the set deadline.

Kanishka is a writer and acclaimed poetess from Jabalpur who gives words to things people often overlook. She writes opinion articles and content to create an impact and make people think.

She has been featured in several national and international magazines and anthologies, and holds two national records — one for the longest reverse poem and another for compiling an all-female anthology.
