Silver Oak University Faculty Publish Book on Data Structures Using C

The faculty members of Silver Oak University have published the book titled ‘Fundamentals of Data Structures using C’ that aims at helping the students and beginners develop an understanding of data structures and programming.

The book has been authored by Dr. Jaimin D. Dave, Principal of the College of Technology and the esteemed faculty members Mr. Rakesh Jagdishchandra Shah and Ms. Vishwa Ketanbhai Patel from the Computer Engineering Department of the College of Technology.

Published by Crownex Publication in August 2026, the book provides an insight into the fundamental concepts of data structures and their implementation using the C programming language. The book covers concepts such as arrays, linked lists, stacks, queues, trees and graphs, searching, sorting and traversal techniques.

Using descriptions, algorithms and coding examples, the book establishes a relationship between the theoretical and practical aspects of data structures. It serves as a resource for students studying computer science, engineering and related undergraduate programmes and for beginners interested in building a strong foundation in programming.

Data structures is a vital aspect of computer science that helps learners understand how information is organised, stored and processed. Having a foundational understanding of this concept helps students progress to advanced topics such as algorithms, software development and other aspects of computer science.

The publication of the book is a great achievement for the three authors who have contributed immensely towards enhancing the teaching and learning process of computer engineering at Silver Oak University. With a focus on fundamental concepts and their implementation using the C programming language, the book impacts learners by enabling them develop logical and deductive reasoning skills to comprehend the concepts of data structures and computer science in general.

Silver Oak University Congratulates the Authors on the phenomenal achievement and publication of the book that enhances the teaching and learning of computer engineering.

The book is a valuable resource that supports learners in acquiring foundational knowledge in data structures and programming in general.
