In a proud moment, two professors of Sri Sri University are recognised among the Top 2% Scientists in the Stanford University–Elsevier 2026 list.
Sri Sri University shared this proud news on their official page congratulating both Prof. Gopi Nath Palai and Prof. Debashis Panda for their remarkable contribution and expertise. The recognition celebrates their outstanding contributions, scholarly impact and continued commitment to academic excellence.
Recognition for Research Contributions
The Stanford–Elsevier list is based on standardised citation indicators used to assess the research impact of scientists across different disciplines. The database includes separate lists measuring citation impact over a single year and across a researcher’s career.
The assessment considers indicators such as citations, the h-index, co-authorship and author positions. Inclusion signals that a researcher’s published work has attracted significant citation impact under the list’s methodology, although citation measures do not capture every aspect of research quality or contribution.
Sri Sri University Celebrates Faculty Achievement
Sri Sri University congratulated Prof. Gopi Nath Palai and Prof. Debashis Panda on the recognition, describing it as a proud moment for the institution.
The achievement draws attention to the role of faculty research in higher education, where scholarly work contributes to the development of knowledge, academic discussion and future research.
