Parul University’s Faculty of Performing Arts is set to host the fourth edition of the PU International Folklore Festival, bringing folk music, dance and cultural traditions from around the world to one stage. The festival will celebrate cultural diversity through traditional performances, colourful costumes and stories rooted in the heritage of different communities. The festival is scheduled for October 26 to 30, 2026, at Parul University in Vadodara, Gujarat.

Five Days of Folk Music, Dance and Cultural Exchange

The festival will showcase folk traditions through dance, music and performances that reflect the cultural identities of participating communities. It aims to offer audiences an opportunity to experience the diversity of global folk art and understand the traditions passed down through generations.

From vibrant rhythms to traditional costumes and expressive performances, the event will bring together different cultural forms in a shared celebration of artistic expression.

The fourth edition continues the university’s focus on performing arts and cultural exchange. The festival is organised by Parul University in association with the International Alliance for Art and Culture and the International Organization of Folk Art’s India section.

By bringing folk traditions into a common space, the event seeks to encourage appreciation of cultural heritage and create opportunities for audiences to engage with artistic traditions from different parts of the world.
