Silver Oak University to Host ‘Street Storm’ Dance Battle on October 22

Silver Oak University is set to host Street Storm – Street Dance Battle today, on October 22, 2026, bringing together students to showcase their dance skills, creativity and stage presence. Organised by the Silver Oak Institute of Management’s Department of Management in collaboration with the university’s Cultural Cell, the event is open to all Silver Oak University students.

The event will start from 2 pm and will go on till 4 pm at the A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Auditorium, E-Block, 9th Floor. It aims to give students a platform to express themselves through street dance, explore different styles and participate in friendly competition.

Street Storm will feature dance styles including hip-hop, breaking, locking, popping, house, Afro beats, Bollywood hip-hop, commercial street mix and EDM remix.

The event will include two rounds: a showcase performance followed by one-on-one freestyle dance battles, allowing participants to demonstrate their technique, individuality and ability to perform to different rhythms.

Through Street Storm, Silver Oak University aims to encourage student participation in cultural activities and provide a space for young dancers to display their talent, build confidence and connect with fellow performers.
