The Faculty of Legal Sciences, Shoolini University participated in the ‘Nyaya Nirmaan 2026: India @ 2047‘ organised by General Counsels’ Association of India (GCAI) in New Delhi.
The fifth edition of the conference was organized on 24 September 2026 at the Dr Ambedkar International Centre with the theme ‘Building the Legal Architecture for a Connected Global Economy’. The event aimed to address the changing legal landscape in India and the importance of law in realizing the vision of Viksit Bharat @ 2047, featuring participation from members of the judiciary, government, legal profession, industry, and academia.
At the conference, legal reforms, commercial certainty, technology driven justice, artificial intelligence, alternative dispute resolution, arbitration and the evolving role of lawyers were discussed. A discussion on next generation legal leaders also explored the impact of technology, globalisation and evolving business needs on legal practice.
The conference was a great platform for the students of Shoolini University to get a glimpse of the current legal issues and also meet people from the legal fraternity. The experience offered insights beyond the classroom and helped students gain a better understanding of the developments that will shape the future of India’s legal market.
