4th PU International Folklore Festival Celebrates Cultural Diversity Through Music and Dance

The 4th PU International Folklore Festival is an international gathering of artists and cultural representatives of different origins to celebrate music, dances, traditions, and cultural expression held at Panjab University (PU).

The festival presented an opportunity for participants to demonstrate their culture through traditional shows, music, and arts. The artists gave glimpses of their respective cultures, enabling audiences to learn about different traditions and stories through performances.

It emphasized the role of folk art in maintaining cultural identity and bringing people closer to each other. The people involved in the event used music and dance to celebrate their roots and create opportunities for interaction with people belonging to different cultures.

The 4th PU International Folklore Festival also served as an occasion for students to interact with traditions other than that of their communities.

The 4th PU International Folklore Festival emphasized the significance of cultural exchange in uniting people through geographical and linguistic barriers, with folk performance as a universal medium of expression.
