Jaro Education Recognised as ‘Leader in Higher Education & Upskilling 2026’ for Evolving Learning Ecosystem

Jaro Education has been recognised with the “Leader in Higher Education & Upskilling Award 2026”, an industry recognition that the company says reflects its efforts to expand access to higher education and professional learning opportunities.

The recognition comes at a time when the relationship between education and employment is changing rapidly. As new technologies reshape industries and job roles evolve, professionals are increasingly required to update their skills throughout their careers rather than rely solely on an initial academic qualification.

For Jaro Education, this shift is reflected in its 2026 theme, “Innovate & Evolve.” The company says the theme represents its approach to building learning opportunities that respond to changing professional requirements.

Founded in 2009, Jaro Education has worked with higher education institutions to offer programmes aimed at professionals and learners seeking additional qualifications and skills. According to the company, it has partnered with institutions including IITs, IIMs, IISc and other universities, and has supported more than 3.5 lakh professionals.

The company also says it currently works with 33-plus institutions and provides access to 279-plus programmes across multiple disciplines.

While these numbers indicate the scale of its operations, Jaro Education says its focus is not limited to expanding its programme portfolio. Learner experience, relevance of courses and the long-term value of education remain central to its approach, according to the company.

“At Jaro Education, we believe innovation has meaning only when it creates real value for learners. As industries and professional expectations continue to change, we must keep evolving with them,” said Ranjita Raman, CEO, Jaro Education.

She added that the recognition reinforces the trust placed in the organisation by learners and academic partners while also increasing its responsibility to create “meaningful, credible and future-focused learning opportunities.”

The changing nature of professional careers has also made continuous learning increasingly important. A degree or diploma is often no longer viewed as the endpoint of education, particularly in sectors where technology and workplace requirements change quickly.

Jaro Education says its learning ecosystem is designed around this need for continued professional development, giving working professionals opportunities to acquire new skills and broaden their knowledge without treating education as a one-time experience.

The company’s next phase of growth is expected to focus on strengthening academic partnerships, incorporating emerging technologies and expanding its learning offerings.

For Jaro Education, the latest award marks another milestone in its journey in the higher education and upskilling sector. The larger challenge, however, remains turning scale and innovation into learning outcomes that are relevant to the changing needs of students and professionals.

As the demand for lifelong learning grows, education providers will increasingly be measured not only by the number of programmes they offer, but by how effectively those programmes help learners remain relevant in a changing world.
