Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI) offers fully funded bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degree courses, and students from the United Arab Emirates and international students can apply for admission. The graduate students may apply by December 15, 2025, and undergraduates by April 30, 2026. However, the language test is exempt for United States citizens, Australians, New Zealanders, and United Kingdom citizens. They also have to sit for an entrance test and interview, write an 800-word Statement of Purpose, and provide two recommendations.

But the Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI) in Abu Dhabi has already opened its application for its fully sponsored 2026 scholarship scheme that grants international and United Arab Emirates residents and citizens the opportunity to study bachelor's, master's, and doctoral courses. The scholarship will cater to full tuition, on-campus accommodation, health cover, visa sponsorship, and a graduate student monthly stipend. Undergraduate students won't be eligible for the stipend.

Master of Science and Ph.D. in computer vision, machine learning, natural language processing, robotics, and computer science are just some of the several programs offered at MBZUAI. Scholarship duration for master's degree students is two years and for doctoral degrees is four years. Along with English language proficiency as attested by the TOEFL (90+), IELTS (6.0+), or EmSAT (1550+), students applying for master's studies need to have a minimum four-year bachelor's degree or its equivalent with a minimum GPA of 3.2/4.0. The language test is exempted for Australian, American, British, and New Zealand citizens. Additionally, students have to fill in an 800-word Statement of Purpose, two letters of recommendation, an interview, and an admission test.

A master's and bachelor's degree, a minimum GPA of 3.2/4.0 for both degrees, scores in English language proficiency skills equivalent to master's degree requirements, an 800-word Statement of Purpose, a well-developed research statement, and three letters of recommendation are all requirements for Ph.D. applicants. Depending on the status of the applicant (UAE national, resident, or international student), further requirements include a CV, academic transcripts, valid Emirates ID or passport, and an online application form.

MBZUAI invites students to apply through its own web portal and have the forms and documents pre-filled. The scholarship offers an opportunity of a lifetime to study advanced artificial intelligence at one of the top institutions globally.
