MEXT Japan PNST Fellowship 2026 at Kyutech (Fully Funded)

The MEXT Japan PNST Fellowship 2026 at Kyushu Institute of Technology (Kyutech) has been opened for application. It is a Japanese fully funded scholarship, an agreement between United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA), Government of Japan, and Kyutech. Three students in total for the Doctoral Program and three students in total for the Master's Program will be given the PNST Fellowship. The students will be given a Japanese Government Scholarship (MEXT) scholarship, which will cover tuition fee waiver, living allowance, accommodation, round-trip airfare, local transportation, and other miscellaneous costs. The scheme should give the students enough research experience in nano-satellite systems at Kyutech.

Doctoral Program: Possess a Master's (or equivalent) degree in engineering field.

Timeline

The PNST Fellowship Program shall begin on October 1, 2026. Final-year students pursuing a Bachelor's degree program should finish their degree by September 2026.
