Ten students from rural areas of Bilaspur district have been selected for an exclusive educational tour to the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, representing a thrilling opportunity for these young learners.

The students will embark on an enriching journey to explore the marvels of space science and technology. The tour aims to ignite and foster their interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

During their visit, the students will have a rare chance to explore ISRO's Space Applications Centre (SAC) and visit Gujarat Science City, home to the most prominent space museum in the country. They will also engage with cutting-edge technology at an IMAX 3D theatre, energy park, life science park, musical fountains, and a theatre, providing an immersive educational experience.

This initiative is part of ISRO's Young Scientist Programme "YUva VIgyani KAryakram" (YUVIKA), which aims to impart foundational knowledge on Space Technology, Space Science, and Space Applications to young minds aspiring to explore the universe.

In a significant stride towards enhancing space education, the district administration has announced plans to establish space labs in four subdivisions of Bilaspur. These labs will serve as innovative platforms for students to delve deeper into space science and technology, fostering a culture of exploration and learning.

This exciting opportunity holds the potential to inspire and empower the next generation of space enthusiasts and budding scientists from the region. It is poised to spark curiosity, nurture talent, and pave the way for future space exploration and technology advancements.
