Jamia Millia Islamia Launches Diverse Short-Term Courses; Registration Ends August 18

The Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE) at Jamia Millia Islamia has announced the opening of admissions for a range of skill-based short-term courses. According to the official press release, these courses aim to provide participants with practical skills and expertise in high-demand fields. Registration for these courses will close on August 18.

The offerings include a variety of subjects such as Digital Marketing, Performance Marketing, Data Science, AI & ML, Ethical Hacking, Cyber Security, Audio Video Editing, and Tailoring and Embroidery. Additionally, there are courses in Beautician Training and Bakery Training, along with UI/UX design. To be eligible, candidates must have completed at least high school or its equivalent, with preference given to those with bachelor’s degrees in relevant disciplines. Classes are scheduled from Monday to Friday.

In related news, Jamia Millia Islamia is also conducting admissions for undergraduate programs based on CUET UG 2024 scores. The university offers 15 programmes through this entrance exam, including BA (Hons) in various languages and subjects, BSc in Biotechnology, BVoc in Solar Energy, and several BSc (Hons) programs in science.

Meanwhile, Delhi University has extended the deadline for filling out preferences for the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS UG) 2024. The first merit list for DU UG 2024 admissions will be released on August 16 at 5 PM. Applicants have until August 18 to accept their allocated seats.
