Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has announced an extension for the submission of online applications for its undergraduate (UG) and Certificate of Proficiency (COP) programs. The new deadline is August 14, with the application portal closing at 11:50 PM.

Candidates who need to correct errors in their registration forms can do so from August 13 to August 14. This correction period allows applicants to amend any mistakes before the final submission.

Those who have yet to submit their applications can do so through the official JNU website, jnuee.jnu.ac.in. To apply, candidates must have their NTA application number and date of birth on hand. Admissions will be based on the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) results, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

For undergraduate programs, such as BA and BSc, applicants must have completed their Class 12 or an equivalent examination with at least 45 per cent marks. Admission will be granted based on CUET UG 2024 scores. Similarly, candidates must have achieved a minimum of 45 per cent in Class 12 for Certificate of Proficiency programs. Notably, there will be no viva voce for admissions to these programs.

The application fee for UG programs is Rs 268, while for COP programs, it is Rs 219. Candidates must pay the registration fee before submitting their applications.
