A disturbing case of assault and harassment has emerged from the prestigious Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (PGIMS) in Rohtak, where a first-year dental student was allegedly kidnapped and assaulted by a resident doctor. The accused, Maninder Kaushik, an MD anatomy resident, was arrested by the police on August 16.
The victim's ordeal reportedly began seven months ago when Kaushik started harassing her, leveraging his position to intimidate and coerce her. According to the student's complaint, Kaushik threatened to manipulate her attendance records if she reported the harassment.
