The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has commenced the choice filling and locking process for Round 2 of NEET UG 2024 counselling. Eligible candidates can submit and lock their preferences for medical and dental college seats until September 12, 2024, with the process closing at 11:55 PM on that day.

The eagerly awaited seat allotment results for Round 2 will be announced on September 15, 2024. Candidates who participated in Round 1 and received seat allotments can join this round to upgrade their choices. Additionally, fresh registrations for Round 2 are open for those who did not secure a seat in the first round or for candidates looking to improve their position.

Candidates successfully allotted seats in this round must report to their respective colleges between September 16 and September 20, 2024, to complete the admission process. Failure to report during this period may result in the forfeiture of the allotted seat.

As per News18 reports, the official platform for all updates and procedures related to NEET UG 2024 counselling is the MCC website (mcc.nic.in). Here, candidates can access detailed instructions, important dates, and real-time updates on the counselling process.

With the NEET UG being one of India's most competitive medical entrance exams, the counselling process plays a critical role in determining candidates' future academic and career paths. Round 2 is crucial for securing preferred seats in top medical institutions nationwide.

As the counselling process unfolds, candidates are advised to keep a close eye on deadlines, complete the steps for choice filling, and ensure they meet all reporting requirements to secure their admissions smoothly.
