In a significant achievement for India’s education sector, schools from Delhi and Ratlam have been named finalists for the prestigious World's Best School Prizes 2024. This global recognition underscores the growing prominence of Indian schools on the world stage, particularly for their innovative approaches to teaching and community engagement.

As per Hindustan Times report, the Indian finalists include Government Girls Senior Secondary School in Delhi, honoured for its groundbreaking work in promoting STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education, and Satya Prakash Public School in Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh, recognized for its commitment to inclusivity and fostering community involvement. These schools represent the best of India's educational innovation, making a meaningful impact on students and society alike.

The World's Best School Prizes 2024 celebrates excellence in education across five key categories: Best School in the World, Community Collaboration, Environmental Sustainability, Innovation, and Student Support. Schools are judged on their impact on students and the wider community, as well as their ability to foster innovation, collaboration, and environmental responsibility. Winners will receive international recognition, along with a cash prize of $250,000 and a prestigious trophy. 

The final results will be announced in October 2024 during the Global Education Forum in Dubai, where the winning schools will be awarded for their contributions to transforming education. Previous Indian winners of this prestigious prize include the Government Secondary School in Jharkhand (2022) and Rajkiya Pratibha Vikas Vidyalaya in Delhi (2023), marking India’s continued presence in this global educational competition.

India's consistent representation in the World's Best School Prizes highlights the country's growing reputation for fostering educational excellence. With the upcoming announcement, the country hopes to add another accolade to its growing list of international educational achievements.
