Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Manish Sisodia has strongly asserted that the Kejriwal-Sisodia partnership remains the only effective choice for advancing education in Delhi.
Speaking at a campaign event ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections, Sisodia highlighted the transformative changes made in Delhi’s government schools under his and Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s leadership. He called on citizens to vote for AAP, emphasizing the party’s commitment to honesty and transparency in governance.
Sisodia pointed to the AAP’s election symbol, the broom, as a symbol of integrity, reaffirming that he and Kejriwal stand for clean politics. In a bold pledge, Sisodia stated that he would not assume the role of education minister or deputy chief minister unless the people of Delhi viewed him as honest. This promise underscores his emphasis on accountability, reflecting the party’s broader effort to maintain public trust.
Citing AAP’s record in education reform, Sisodia proudly highlighted the improvements made in Delhi’s government schools, including better infrastructure, teacher training, and student outcomes. The Delhi education model has gained national recognition, often being hailed as an example of what can be achieved through focused leadership and consistent investment in public education.
As per a Hindustan Times report, with the Delhi Assembly elections scheduled for February next year, Sisodia’s speech aimed to mobilize support for AAP by emphasizing the Kejriwal government’s past achievements in education. He positioned AAP as the only party capable of delivering sustained progress in this critical area, urging voters to continue backing their efforts for the betterment of Delhi’s students.
The Kejriwal-Sisodia duo has long positioned education as a cornerstone of their governance strategy, making it a key talking point as they campaign for re-election. Their focus on honesty, coupled with a strong track record of reform, is central to their appeal as they seek to secure another term in power.
