The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has officially released the admit cards for the screening test to recruit Unani Medical Officers (UMO).

Candidates can now download their admit cards from the UPPSC official website at uppsc.up.nic.in. The UMO screening test is set to take place on October 6, 2024, from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM. In preparation for the exam, candidates are advised to arrive at their designated exam centres at least one and a half hours before the start time, as entry gates will close 45 minutes before the exam begins.

To download their admit cards, candidates must follow a series of straightforward steps. They should visit the official UPPSC website and locate the "UMO Admit Card 2024" link on the homepage. After clicking the link, candidates will be prompted to enter their login credentials, including their OTR number, date of birth, gender, and verification codes. Once the information is submitted, the admit card will be displayed on the screen, which candidates are encouraged to download and print for their records.

The UPPSC aims to fill 26 vacancies for the position of Unani Medical Officer through this recruitment drive. As the date of the screening test approaches, candidates are urged to ensure they have all necessary materials prepared for the exam, including their admit cards and identification documents, to avoid any last-minute complications.

This recruitment is part of UPPSC’s ongoing efforts to strengthen the healthcare sector in Uttar Pradesh by filling critical medical positions. The UMO role is crucial in promoting Unani medicine, which has gained recognition for its holistic approach to health and wellness. As candidates gear up for the screening test, the commission remains committed to maintaining transparency and fairness in the recruitment process, ensuring that qualified individuals are selected for these vital healthcare roles.
