IDP IELTS, one of the foremost English language proficiency test providers, has launched a ₹30 lakh scholarship program aimed at helping Indian students fulfil their aspirations of studying abroad. This initiative, set to benefit 40 Indian students, underscores IDP’s commitment to supporting academic excellence and global educational opportunities.

Each selected candidate will receive a scholarship of ₹75,000, providing much-needed financial assistance to students preparing for higher education in international institutions. To be eligible for the scholarship, students must be Indian citizens, register for the IELTS exam through IDP, and demonstrate clear plans to pursue studies abroad. The application window closes on November 30, 2024, offering students a short but valuable window to apply.

Piyush Kumar, Regional Director of IDP IELTS, expressed the organisation's dedication to empowering Indian students. The scholarship application process involves three key steps. First, students must register for the IELTS exam through IDP. Then, they must complete an accompanying scholarship application form, detailing their academic and career goals. Finally, applicants must submit supporting documents to verify their eligibility and academic credentials.

With study abroad programs becoming increasingly competitive and financially demanding, this scholarship initiative is expected to offer substantial relief for students who may otherwise struggle to fund their international education. IDP IELTS, known for facilitating the pathway to global education through its English proficiency tests, continues to strengthen its role in assisting Indian students in navigating international academic opportunities.

Experts believe that such scholarships not only alleviate financial pressure but also enable students to focus on their educational endeavours without constant concern about expenses. As the deadline nears, the response to the program is expected to surge, with many students aiming to take advantage of this unique opportunity. The ₹30 lakh scholarship fund is a significant step toward making global education more accessible for Indian students, aligning with broader efforts to internationalise education and provide financial support to talented young minds.
