The Uttar Pradesh NEET UG-2024 stray vacancy round counselling has officially started, giving medical aspirants another opportunity to secure seats in state medical colleges.

Candidates who missed out on earlier counselling rounds can now register online from October 23 to October 25, 2024. To apply, students must fill out the registration form, upload the necessary documents, and pay the registration fee of ₹1,000 by October 25.

Once registration closes, the merit list will be announced on the same day, October 25, 2024. Candidates can then begin the online choice-filling process, which will run from October 25 to October 28, 2024. The final seat allotment results will be declared on October 29, allowing students to check if they have secured a spot in one of Uttar Pradesh’s medical colleges.

For those already admitted through previous rounds, there is an option to resign from their allotted seats by October 23. The admission process for students who are allotted seats in this stray vacancy round will be conducted in two phases: from October 30 to November 1, 2024, and again from November 4 to November 5, 2024.

This final round of counselling is crucial as it ensures that the remaining seats in medical institutions across Uttar Pradesh are filled. The state aims to optimise available seats, ensuring deserving students can still pursue medical education.

Given this opportunity's tight deadlines and importance, aspiring medical students are encouraged to act swiftly. They should regularly visit the official website for detailed instructions and updates on the stray vacancy counselling process.

The UP NEET UG-2024 stray vacancy round not only gives candidates another chance to pursue their dreams of becoming doctors but also ensures that no seats go unfilled, contributing to a well-rounded healthcare system in the state.
