The Indian Institute of Management Indore (IIM Indore) has announced the commencement of admissions for the second batch of its two-year Master of Management Studies (MMS) programme.
The programme, designed for experienced professionals, aims to provide a comprehensive learning experience with 900 hours of instruction, covering a range of core business subjects such as finance, marketing, operations, HRM, strategic management, and decision analytics.
Delivered through an advanced Interactive Learning platform in Direct-to-Device mode, the MMS program offers a flexible learning format to cater to the needs of working professionals. In addition to the online coursework, the programme includes a 12-day on-campus immersion, which allows participants to engage directly with faculty and peers. The final semester also involves a Capstone project, allowing students to apply theoretical concepts to real-world business challenges.
According to Prof. Himanshu Rai, Director of IIM Indore, the MMS programme is structured to build both technical and soft skills. "We aim to prepare our learners to strategize effectively, foster resilient leadership, and make ethical decisions in today’s complex business environment," said Prof. Rai. He further highlighted the programme’s emphasis on inclusivity, making it relevant for individuals aspiring to impact various industries significantly.
The first batch of the MMS programme attracted a diverse range of professionals, including senior managers, CEOs, and executives from IT, finance, healthcare, and manufacturing. Around 70% of participants had 5 to 15+ years of experience, underscoring the programme's appeal to seasoned professionals seeking to enhance their leadership skills.
