Esri India has launched the 2024 Young Scholar Programme, designed to recognize and empower undergraduate and postgraduate students in geospatial disciplines across India.

Esri India has launched the 2024 Young Scholar Programme, designed to recognize and empower undergraduate and postgraduate students in geospatial disciplines across India. The initiative invites eligible students to showcase their skills by submitting projects that demonstrate creativity, innovation, and the effective use of Esri technology. Registration is open until March 10, with project submissions due by March 17. Successful participants will have the chance to present their work at the esteemed Esri User Conference in San Diego, California.

Eligibility criteria requires full-time enrollment in GIS or related courses at Indian or Nepalese universities, with graduating students from the class of 2024 also eligible to apply. Projects must exhibit the application of Esri technology to address real-world challenges, with only individual submissions considered.

Winners will receive prestigious accolades including the 'Esri India Young Scholar of the Year' trophy, certificates, and a 12-month ArcGIS personal use license. Additionally, the top awardee will be granted a trip to the Esri Education Summit and Esri International User Conference in San Diego in July 2024.
