The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the practical examination dates for Class 10 and 12 students attending winter-bound schools for the 2024-2025 academic year. According to the official notification, the practical exams for Class 10 will occur from November 15 to December 14, 2024, while Class 12 practical exams will be conducted from November 15 to December 20, 2024.

CBSE has directed all winter-bound schools to complete the practical examinations within the stipulated time frame and follow the board's guidelines carefully. Additionally, schools must upload the practical exam marks on the official CBSE portal by December 31, 2024. The board has tentatively scheduled the theory exams for both Class 10 and Class 12 for March 2025.

To ensure smooth administration of the exams, CBSE has assigned regional offices in major cities, including Ajmer, Allahabad, Chandigarh, Delhi, Guwahati, Panchkula, Patna, and Thiruvananthapuram. These regional offices will oversee the examination process, ensuring the guidelines are uniformly followed across schools. For any queries or concerns, students and schools can contact CBSE through its official website (cbse.gov.in), helpline number (011-23220155), or email (This email address is being protected from spambots. The board has emphasised the importance of adhering to the announced schedule to facilitate the smooth conduct of practical exams. Schools are encouraged to ensure that all arrangements, including exam logistics and marks submission, are completed within the given deadlines.

With the release of the practical exam schedule, students attending winter-bound schools now have a clear exam timeline. This allows them to focus on preparing effectively, while schools can plan accordingly to meet all the necessary guidelines.

The announcement is a significant step in keeping the academic process on track for students facing harsh winter conditions, offering ample time to prepare for their practical assessments. CBSE’s efforts to streamline the process and clarify examination timelines aim to maintain high evaluation standards and ensure fairness for all students.
