The Telangana Department of School Education has officially released the notification for the upcoming Teachers’ Eligibility Test (TET) scheduled for January 2025.
Announced on Monday, November 4, the registration process will begin on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, and eligible candidates are encouraged to apply via the official website, schooledu.telangana.gov.in. The second phase of the TS TET is set to take place from January 1 to January 20, 2025. Candidates must submit their applications by November 20, 2024, to be considered for the examination.
According to the official notification, detailed guidelines and an information bulletin will be available for download on the official website starting November 5. This will give candidates essential details about the examination structure, eligibility criteria, and application procedures. The announcement comes on the heels of the successful TS TET May 2024 examination, which concluded earlier this year. The results of that examination were declared on June 12, 2024, after being conducted online as a computer-based test across 11 districts from May 20 to June 3, 2024. Approximately 2.35 lakh candidates registered during this examination period, with 1.09 lakh successfully passing.
The process is straightforward for those looking to apply for the January 2025 TS TET. Candidates should first visit the official TS TET website, where they will find the registration link prominently on the home page. After registering, applicants can log in to their accounts to fill out the application form and complete the necessary payment for the application fee.
