The Telangana Department of School Education has released the notification for the Teachers’ Eligibility Test (TET) – II 2024 on Monday, November 4. Candidates can register for the exam starting today, November 5, through the official TG TET website, schooledu.telangana.gov.in. The registration window will remain open until November 20, giving aspirants ample time to complete their applications.
According to the official announcement, the second phase of the TG TET 2024 exam will be held across Telangana in a Computer Based Test (CBT) format from January 1 to January 2025. Comprehensive instructions and an information bulletin detailing the application process, eligibility criteria, and exam format will be available for download on the official website starting November 5. These resources will provide candidates with critical guidelines to ensure a smooth registration and examination experience.
The TG TET is a crucial examination conducted by the Telangana State Department of School Education to evaluate candidates' suitability for teaching positions in Classes 1 to 8. It consists of two papers: Paper 1 is for those aspiring to teach primary students (Classes 1 to 5). In contrast, Paper 2 is intended for candidates who wish to teach at the secondary level (Classes 6 to 8). Candidates who aim to qualify for teaching at both primary and secondary levels must clear both papers.
The notification for the upcoming TG TET II exam follows the successful administration of the TG TET May 2024 exam, which was held from May 20 to June 3 in a computer-based format across 11 districts in the state. The results of that exam were released on June 12. The May session featured two test slots: the morning session from 9 to 11:30 am and the afternoon session from 2 to 4:30 pm.
