Applications are now open to apply for the Google PhD Fellowship Program 2025. Google is providing PhD fellowships to Exceptional International Fellows from all around the world. Those who are currently pursuing a PhD program are eligible to apply for the Google PhD fellowship. The Fellowship Duration is for 1 year to 3 Years, depending on where the applicant is from. Google will give a Fund which will support the Fellows to pay Stipend, Traveling expenses, Research expenditures, and international Travel allowances if needed. Google will also match Fellows with the Google Research Mentor. Google is presenting Fellowships now in Africa, Australia, Canada, East Asia, Europe, India, Latin America, the Middle East, New Zealand, Southeast Asia, and the United States. Aim of Google PhD Fellowship

The Aim of the Fellowship is to assist outstanding PhD students with respect to Costly expenses who are conducting exemplary and innovative work in topics concerning computer science as well as adjoining areas. Google will also arrange them with the Google Research Mentor.

Canada & US: Up to 2 yrs, $85K/yr ($70K education, $15K allowance, travel, equipment – from 2025), Google Mentor

East Asia: 1 yr, $10K (allowance, research, travel), Google Mentor

Europe & Middle East: Up to 2 yrs, variable bursary (stipend, healthcare, fees, travel, equipment), Google Mentor

Latin America: Up to 2 yrs, $15K/yr (allowance, research, travel), Google Mentor

Southeast Asia: Up to 3 yrs, $10K/yr (stipend, research, travel), Google Mentor

India:

Early-stage: Up to 4 yrs, $50K (stipend, research, travel), Google Mentor

Late-stage: 1 yr, $10K (research recognition, stipend, research, travel), Google Mentor.

General Eligibility Criteria

Google invites applicants from all Countries.

Must continue to be enrolled full-time in the PhD program for the duration of the Fellowship or lose the award.

Google staff and their family members living with them (spouses, children, members of their household) are ineligible.

Students currently being supported by an equivalent industry award are ineligible (government or not-for-profit sponsorship is exempted).

Recipients of a Google PhD Fellowship in the past are not eligible to reapply.
