On 22nd April, 2025, the All India Forensic Science Entrance Test (AIFSET) results were declared at 1PM. Students who cleared the exam will now have a counselling session that will help them choose the best college as per the requirements and score.
However, not all students were lucky enough to clear this exam. There were many who missed taking the AIFSET test due to bad internet connection, urgent work, family emergencies, and inadequate preparation.
What Should Students Who Didn’t Clear AIFSET 2025?
For those students who couldn’t clear the test, it is important to remember that this is not the end; you still have a chance! The AIFSET 2025 offers students opportunities to appear for the exam again. The next exam is scheduled for May 10th, 2025, and you can register till 9th May and take the exam again. This second chance will allow those students to improve their scores and secure a seat in their preferred universities. It is important to note that each student can attempt the AIFSET a maximum of three times, so making use of these attempts wisely is very important.
Tips for Students Who Failed The Entrance Test
It is heartbreaking as well as traumatising to fail even after putting in all the efforts. But life is not unfair; things happen when they have to. You have a second chance in your hand to study well and clear AIFSET 2025. Here are some tips to help you clear the exam on the second attempt:
- Have a Growth Mindset: Instead of constantly reminding yourself that you couldn’t clear the exam, tell yourself that you can and you will clear it this time.
- Visualise a Better Score: Do not look at your old score again and again. Try to visualise a better score and put efforts in that direction.
- Use Study Material: You shouldn’t waste time on reading unnecessary things but study material. Download it from the official AIFSET website.
- Control Stress: No one has ever achieved anything with stress and anxiety; avoid overthinking and put your focus on studying. This will help you feel less anxious and give you confidence.
- Take Mock Test: Until the day of the exam, take mock tests and practise more. You can score better with this because mock tests have questions that are likely to be asked in the exam.
- Prioritise Self-care: To score well, you need to eat and sleep well. Usually students skip meals and study till 3-4am. However, it might not work for everyone.
In short, students who follow a proper test-prep plan and take the second attempt of AIFSET can clear the exam with flying colours and secure a seat in the top universities in India.
Lastly, the exam scheduled for May 10th should be taken as a fresh opportunity that will help students move closer to a promising career in forensic science. Remember, with the right preparation and a positive mindset, success is within reach. Students can also reach out to the helpline at 08035018480 or email
