After buying AlgoPrep, Vedam says that it is now in a position to deliver potent AI-based tools like intelligent doubt solvers, personalized code review machines, adaptive learning pathways and mock interview helpers.

Vedam School of Technology, an Educational institution has purchased AlgoPrep, an artificial intelligence learning platform co-founded by ex-Microsoft engineer Nishant Chahar and ex-Google engineer Subhesh Kumar. Through this acquisition, the partners look to create AI-native undergraduate technology curriculum—designed to equip students with the skills necessary for the 2029 and future jobs, as per an official press release.

Earlier this year, Vedam launched its flagship four-year on-campus B.Tech in Computer Science [AI] in partnership with a UGC-recognised university. Focused on project-based, hands-on learning, now, with AlgoPrep incorporated into its learning environment, Vedam is further accelerating its commitment to AI-first education.

“With AlgoPrep joining forces, we’re embedding AI deeply into the learning journey,” said Piyush Nangru, Co-Founder of Vedam. “This is more than an acquisition—it’s a transformation in how Computer Science is taught. We’re not just producing coders, but confident, industry-ready engineers,” Nangru added.

Vedam's four-year course contains over 50 real-world projects, 6-month paid internships, mentorship by tech leaders from MAANG companies, and intensive focus on product-building from day one. Every student is given a personal MacBook and access to India's first AI-driven academic ecosystem, the release said.

With the takeover of AlgoPrep, Vedam promises to now have effective AI-based solutions like intelligent doubt solvers, customized code review engines, learning paths that adapt and mock interview helpers.

"AlgoPrep was built to scale and make AI-powered learning impactful," said Nishant Chahar. "Working with Vedam provides us the reach and vision to make a difference in engineering education at scale." Added Subhesh Kumar, "This is more than product integration—it's the start of an AI-first curriculum that can be a new standard for computer science education across the country."
