NIC Calls for Applications for Digital India Internship Scheme 2025

The National Informatics Centre (NIC) called for applications for the Digital India Internship Scheme 2025, providing young students from across India with a chance to develop experiential skills in cutting-edge digital technologies and work towards high-impact national programs.

Internship will assist the Digital India initiative by engaging the students on real, practical IT projects in areas of Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Data Analytics, etc. It provides a supportive environment for the students to apply theoretical principles to real-world practice in the able hand of seasoned NIC professionals.

Highlights:

Duration: 2-3 months

Location: NIC HQ (New Delhi) or at different State Centres

Stipend: ₹10,000 per month

Certification: On successful completion and submission of project work

Eligibility:

The candidates must have minimum 60% marks in the latest qualifying examination and must be studying:

B.E. / B.Tech

M.E. / M.Tech

MCA

MSc (Computer Science, IT, or Electronics)

DoEACC 'B' Level certification courses

Procedure for Application:

The candidates can apply and upload documents through dii.nic.in. Merit-based selection shall be done and shortlisted candidates shall be called for personal interview or Skype interview.

The NIC also added that the internship also aims to introduce students to live projects and technology development in the government sector. Interns would be given India's digital revolution initiatives and assigned mission-critical e-governance projects.

In a statement, the NIC also added, "This programme is a talent bridge between industry and academia, giving students an insight into India's evolving digital infrastructure."
