Fellowship involves thematic training, mentorship, and counseling by professional experts. Fellowship of INR 50,000 to INR 2,00,000 shall be given as a grant for the reporting assignment. Field report costs will also be reimbursed.
The applicants have to present a proposal of their idea and plan, and how they are going to execute their story. The planning has to be reported by 2025. The application and fellowships will be shortlisted by an expert panel based on proposal quality and good reporting assurance.
The scheme will attempt to encourage good journalism on matters most relevant to the area. Guided and aided, the scheme hopes to assist reporters in developing well-thought-through and well-researched coverage that will enlighten and challenge the viewer.
