The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has unveiled the much-awaited date and time for the declaration of the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) and Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) results for the academic year 2024.

Students eagerly anticipating their outcomes can mark their calendars for April 26, when the results are set to be disclosed. NBSE, known for its commitment to academic excellence, will make the results available promptly on its official website, nbsenl.edu.in.

For the convenience of students, the NBSE will also provide access to the results through an Android mobile application, which will be accessible via the Play Store. This initiative aims to ensure that students can conveniently access their results using their smartphones, further streamlining the process.

The examination for the Nagaland HSLC or Class 10 board was conducted from February 13 to 23, providing students with ample time to showcase their knowledge and skills. With the exams commencing at 9 am and concluding at 12 pm, students had the opportunity to demonstrate their abilities across various subjects. However, it's essential to note that the online release of the SLC result 2024 is provisional. Students are advised to collect their original mark sheets from their respective schools promptly after the result declaration.

In instances where students seek clarity or wish to verify their results, the NBSE facilitates a re-totaling process. Students dissatisfied with their results can request a re-totaling of their marks. Furthermore, for those still seeking resolution, the option to obtain a photocopy of their answer sheets is available. This stepwise approach ensures that students have avenues for recourse should they have concerns regarding their results.

Reflecting on the previous year's performance, the NBSE reported an impressive overall HSLC pass percentage of 70.32 percent in 2023. Out of the 24,361 students who appeared for the exam, 11,197 were boys, and 13,164 were girls. Notably, Christy Paul Mathew of Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Dimapur, emerged as the frontrunner, securing the coveted first position with an outstanding 99 percent.

The issuance of provisional result gazettes to all registered institutions, coupled with the availability of soft copies on the board portal, underscores NBSE's commitment to transparency and accessibility. By leveraging technology and embracing digital platforms, the board aims to enhance the overall experience for students and stakeholders alike.
