The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has unveiled the marks verification process for students who appeared for the Class 10 supplementary exams. This critical initiative aims to uphold accuracy and transparency in the evaluation process, ensuring students receive fair and correct marks.

The online application process for marks verification will commence on August 9 and conclude on August 14 at 5 PM. Students can apply for marks verification and, if necessary, re-evaluation of their answer scripts. The fee for marks verification is set at ₹500 per subject, while re-evaluation will cost ₹1,000 per subject. Applications must be submitted through the official CBSE website at [cbse.gov.in](http://cbse.gov.in).

As per TOI reports, the process will involve meticulously re-checking the marks awarded to ensure no errors were made in the initial evaluation.

If students apply for this service, their answers will be thoroughly re-evaluated to address any possible discrepancies or overlooked details.

The marks verification and re-evaluation process is a vital measure to guarantee the integrity of the examination system. It offers students a transparent mechanism to resolve doubts or discrepancies in their scores, reinforcing confidence in the fairness of the CBSE's evaluation process.

By providing this opportunity, CBSE ensures the accuracy of the marks and supports students in their academic journey, helping them achieve the scores they rightfully deserve. This initiative underscores CBSE's commitment to maintaining high education standards and fostering trust among students and parents.

Students and parents are encouraged to watch further updates and detailed guidelines from CBSE to ensure a smooth application process. This marks verification drive is a step towards enhancing the reliability of the supplementary exam results and providing students with a clear path to address any concerns regarding their scores.
