The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) has initiated a comprehensive review of madrasas in Uttar Pradesh to ensure children enrolled in these institutions receive formal education. As part of its mandate to protect and promote child rights, the commission plans to inspect and assess madrasas, particularly those lacking basic educational facilities.

As per the Matrubhumi News report, this move comes in response to concerns about the absence of formal education in specific madrasas, where children may not have access to structured academic curricula.
