The Ministry of Education has officially announced an extension of the registration deadline for Yuva Sangam Phase V to October 25, 2024. This initiative is part of the 'Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat' program, aimed at fostering a more profound connection among youth across India and promoting national integration through cultural exchange.

Yuva Sangam is designed for students and young professionals aged 18-30, including National Service Scheme (NSS) participants, Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan (NYKS), and off-campus youth. The program facilitates an enriching experience where participants can explore various states and union territories' diverse traditions, tourism opportunities, and technological advancements.

The initiative has seen significant participation in its previous phases, with 114 tours conducted and over 4,795 participants engaged. This extensive outreach demonstrates the program's commitment to strengthening people-to-people connections, vital for nurturing understanding and unity among the nation's youth.

Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan highlighted that the initiative is instrumental in creating a platform for young people to learn from each other, appreciate the richness of India's cultural tapestry, and cultivate a sense of shared identity.

The program's highlights include exposure to local customs, traditions, and developmental initiatives, ensuring participants comprehensively understand the regions they visit. Additionally, it encourages young people to engage with technology, further enhancing their skill sets.

As the registration deadline approaches, the Education Ministry urges all eligible youth to seize this opportunity to participate in an initiative that promotes personal growth and contributes to the broader goal of national integration. Those interested can register on the official Yuva Sangam portal before the cutoff date.

Individuals can visit the official website or contact the ministry's helpline for more information on registration details and program specifics. This initiative stands as a vital step toward empowering the youth of India and fostering a collective spirit of unity and cooperation.
