The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) has initiated a comprehensive review of madrasas in Uttar Pradesh to ensure children enrolled in these institutions receive formal education. As part of its mandate to protect and promote child rights, the commission plans to inspect and assess madrasas, particularly those lacking basic educational facilities.

Today, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) organised a virtual conclave for school counsellors and wellness staff to strengthen school support systems. The event emphasised these professionals' critical role in nurturing students' mental health and overall well-being, underscoring the increasing importance of holistic support systems in schools.
