The University of Sheffield, UK is welcoming applications from eligible candidates for its MSc Autonomous and Intelligent Systems course in September 2025.

About the course:

During the course, students will understand control systems, machine learning and multisensor data modelling. All the key themes of control and systems engineering and with a focus on system intelligence and autonomy were covered by the course, guiding the University.

Course information:

The students will develop hands-on expertise in working on different types of data, software and hardware and will be able to create a system from a blank sheet in the specialist laboratories. Students can opt to take optional modules, one of which is an option to collaborate with companies on actual opportunities and challenges faced by industry. Students will also work on an independent research-level dissertation project where they can choose an area of interest and come up with a solution to an actual problem in the area, stated the press release.

Eligibility Criteria:

Minimum 2:1 undergraduate honours degree in a relevant discipline with appropriate modules.

Degrees in the following discipline areas are acceptable: Engineering, Mathematics and Physics.

Total IELTS score of 6.5 with at least 6.0 in each component, or equivalent.

Fee Information:

Overseas (2025 annual fee) is £31,190

Scholarship Information:

The University of Sheffield provides 75 International Postgraduate Taught Merit Scholarships for entry in 2025.

Each scholarship is a competitive award of £10,000 towards the initial tuition fee for a taught postgraduate programme in September 2025.

The scholarships are open to all new international students who meet the eligibility conditions. The closing date for scholarship applications is 1 pm UK time on May 12, 2025.
