Portal for Jharkhand CM merit scholarship application form opens; the last date for application is April 11, 2025. The students need to provide their caste certificate issued by the Jharkhand government.

The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has today, March 11, 2025, released the Chief Minister Scholarship Scheme (CMSS). Students who have cleared the 2022, 2023, and 2024 scholarship exams are required to apply through the official website jac.jharkhand.gov.in. The last date to submit the CMSS application form is April 11, 2025. Students willing to receive a scholarship for the next class must have scored at least 60% marks. Beneficiaries are required to fill out the application form as per the given procedure.

Jharkhand CM Merit Scholarship 2025: Documents Required to Submit

Students who are applying for CMSS for the 1st time are required to submit the following documents:

Admission Card

Aadhaar Card

Bank Passbook along with the application

Students applying for the 2nd renewal need to submit the following documents:

Admit Card

Bank Passbook

Class IX Mark sheet

Students applying for the 3rd renewal need to submit the following documents:

Admit card

Aadhaar card

Jharkhand CM Merit Scholarship 2025: How to Apply

Below are the steps to fill the CMSS application form-

Step 1: Visit official website, jac.jharkhand.gov.in.

Step 2: Download application form and enter details properly.

Step 3: Forward application form to head of school.

Those students who wish to apply for the CM Merit Scholarship scheme 2025 need to upload their caste certificate issued by the Jharkhand government because the selection would be on the basis of caste. Schools should forward the authenticated application to the district education officer (DEO) on or before April 15, 2022.

As per the official notice, residential school students will receive only 50% of boarding and food by the government
