Applications have opened for the James Dyson Award 2025, a worldwide competition to recognize innovation in design and engineering. The award invites students to submit problem-solving ideas that have the potential to solve real-life problems and impact positively. PRIZE AND RECOGNITION
Global Winner: Rs 30 lakh and international recognition
National Winner: Rs 5 lakh
The entry deadline is July 16, 2025. The national finalists and winners will be revealed on September 10, followed by the Dyson engineers' shortlist on October 15. The international and sustainability winners will be revealed on November 5.
WHO CAN APPLY?
University students currently studying engineering, product design, or industrial design
Individuals who have graduated from these courses within the last four years
Teams led by someone who has studied a qualifying subject
Degree-level apprentices in engineering or design (within the last four years or in current employment)

PARTICIPATING COUNTRIES AND REGIONS
The eligible applicants should have studied from any of the following: India, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Germany, Japan, Ireland, France, Italy, and others.
