Slovakia Open Applications for Full Scholarship for Foreign Students 2025/26

Slovakia opened its full scholarship for its Scholarships for Talented Students in Slovakia 2025/26 for foreign students to study at two of the top public universities in Slovakia. Merit-based and mobility and cultural exchange from abroad, the scheme has the aim of accepting talented students all over the world.

195 study scholarships for the period of the following academic year are offered — 150 for Bachelor or Bachelor-Master only and Bachelor-Master only, and 45 for Master degree only. Reasonable economic assistance up to €15,000 per individual is granted by the scholarship, including fees, public health insurance, cost of living, and for Erasmus+ or equivalent programme mobility periods. Recipients receive €5,000 annually of study, or €500 monthly.

Scholarship is open to candidates from programme countries who are undertaking full-time on-campus programmes within the Slovak public higher education sectors participating in the programme. 31st July 2025 is the application submission deadline.

Slovakia, with low cost, high security, and rich campus life, is the best destination for students' education and professional development in Europe. Scholarship will grant a three-year fee exemption for Bachelor or dual studies and two years for Master studies.

In order to be chosen, it is necessary to submit a typed CV and motivation letter in English declaring the scientific interest and desire to study in Slovakia. The person should attach mandatory documents such as a passport or ID card, residence certificate, acceptance letters, and other supporting certificates. There is no age bar, but the participants under the age of 18 years should submit the guardian's permission.
