DRDO internship scheme is formulated to offer students experiential learning and exposure to frontier technologies and innovations. The scheme is meant for undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate students of different disciplines such as engineering, physics, mathematics, and computer science
To be eligible for DRDO internship, the applicant should meet the eligibility conditions, which are:
- Being a student of a recognized university or institution
- Having a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 7.0 or 70% marks
- Being present for a minimum internship period of six weeks
The application process involves the student filling an online application on the DRDO website, along with documents, including:
- Scanned copy of the student's identity card
- Scanned copy of the student's mark sheet or grade card
- Scanned copy of the student's bonafide certificate
Following the application, the applicants will be shortlisted according to their academic performance and other considerations. Shortlisted candidates shall be called for interview, and after that, they shall be finally selected.
