Applications are now open for the Indo-Pacific Futures Fellowship 2025/26. It is a Fully Funded Fellowship from the East-West Center and the Doris Duke Foundation. The Fellowship Welcomes Participants from different Backgrounds to Attend a 2 Week Session in the USA and One week in New Zealand. The Fellowship is available for all the Nationals of the globe. No application charge is there. Candidates have to be free in October and November 2025 and for one week in May 2026. The Indo-Pacific Futures Fellowship aims at mitigating the largest issues of the current era like access to resources, environmental and economic instability, and gaps in effective governance. Addressing these issues requires Leadership Skills, Innovative Ideas. Fellows will explore how Leadership can strengthen this system. More details are below

Program Features

Explore the essential connections between food security, energy systems, and leadership for the common good.

Investigate how leadership can enhance systems that balance economic growth, resource availability, and long-term sustainability.

Participants will come from a broad range of backgrounds, including:

Eligibility Criteria

Nationality: Available to applicants from all nations.

Passport: Current passport is valid until the end of 2026.

Professional Experience: 5 to 10 years professional leadership experience in food and energy systems (including advocacy).

Examples: elected representatives, government officials, advocacy leaders, subject experts, community/industry leaders, artists, activists, and social/business entrepreneurs.

Language Proficiency: English fluency level required.

Education: Ideally a minimum of 3 years of study in a degree-awarding higher education institution (not obligatory).
