Are You Ready to join a fully funded five-day Youth forum in Geneva, Switzerland? The Applications are open to apply for the UN Youth Biosecurity Fellowship 2025 in Switzerland. It is a Fully Funded Fellowship in Geneva organized by the United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs (UNODA). The Fellowship program includes 3 months of online sessions and workshops on Biosecurity and Diplomacy between 5 June and 5 July 2025. Afterwards, 20 Participants will embark on a Field Visit to Geneva, Switzerland, between 11 and 15 August 2025. The Objective of the Fellowship is to engage and empower young leaders in biosecurity. It seeks to increase the knowledge of young people in biosecurity and disarmament. There is no application fee and IELTS is not necessary. Further details are below.

This fellowship is funded by the European Union, Global Health Security Fund, United Kingdom, and Switzerland.

Fellowship Duration and Activities

The fellowship is for 3 months.

Fellows undergo an online Biosecurity Diplomacy Workshop (5 June to 5 July 2025).

A 5-day trip to Geneva between 11 to 15 August 2025. They pay for all the expenses.

Eligibility Criteria

Should be below 35 years of age.

Should be a citizen of an eligible country (as mentioned here).

All nationalities who are eligible (low- or middle-income BWC State) are invited to apply.

Must hold an advanced degree in life sciences or related field from a recognized institution or university.

Candidates with social sciences background may exceptionally be considered.

Undergraduate students are also invited to apply.

Female candidates are particularly encouraged to apply.
